As we didn’t expect so many riders during the Covid-19 many of you couldn’t rent the motorbike last minute because of existing up-front reservations. Motorcycle rental Season 2022 Update info

This season we have some good news. We provide new motorbike models for you such as BMW R1250GS (2022/2021) HP, BMW F750GS 40th anniversary (2021), BMW G310GS (2021), Yamaha Tracer (2019), BMW F850GS adv (2020), Suzuki V-Strom 650 (2021), Harley Davidson Soft Tail Deluxe (totally customized), and queen of our fleet Honda Africa Twin DCT (2021) the first motorbike in our fleet that has DCT technology (simply automatic transmission). All bikes are fully equipped with a TFT display, ABS (exception Harley Davidson), side and top cases, phone holder + USB plug.

Safety and enjoyment 

As you are always in our 1st place we take care of your safety and enjoyment in Croatian adventure. All our motorbikes are in top condition well maintained and regularly serviced. Equipment that is included in the price on all our motorcycles is three hard cases, a phone holder, and a USB charger. If you need you can leave your luggage in our office also we provide helmets, jackets, gloves, and raincoats (just inform us before your arrival so we can prepare equipment for you).

What you need to know about the motorcycle rental procedure in Croatia.

When you arrive in Croatia we can organize for you transport from Split airport to the office. Rent-a-GS office is around 35 km far from the airport it’s around 30 minutes drive by cab. Also, you can ask to pick up the motorbike directly when your plane lands in Split.
If you rent a motorcycle in Dubrovnik or Zagreb we can deliver the bike directly to your location (airport or accommodation).
The motorcycle Rental process in Croatia is simple. You provide us valid motorcycle driving license A category or A2 (depending on bike model you choose), passport, or ID if you are from EU countries, we fill up the contract and make payment on site. (also you can make payment up-front with pay by link service if this is more convenient for you). As you already pay up-front for your rental reservation 30% you need to pay the rest amount of 70% on-site.
For motorcycle rental we need a credit/debit card or cash for damage deposit (amount depending on a bike from 900-1500 euro) it’s only blocked money on your account around 7-10 days depending on your bank.

If you want to rent a motorbike for one-day prices oscillating from 80 Euro for smaller bikes like Suzuki 250 or Honda up to 160 euro per/day for stronger BMW models this is more expensive than a 7-day rental which you can find from 60 Euro/day for 7 days rentals.

If you planning to rent a motorcycle in Croatia, what should you think about before you go?

Croatia has incredible roads and many beautiful places so it’s hard to decide which one you should visit on your motorbike tour. Decision depends on a few factors: 

•  season of your arrival in Croatia, 
• how many days have you decided to rent a motorbike
• your location of arrival Split or some other cities like Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Zadar,…
• What you want to see (islands, inland, mountain region)
• Do you want to travel to other countries like Montenegro, Bosnia,…

These are all factors that it’s important to decide on before you came to Croatia. We always recommend a 7-day rental so you can see the best of Croatia. The best time to rent a motorcycle is in May and September these two months offer the best clime for riding not so hot and plenty of sunny days. If you choose this period of the year. We recommend seeing the beautiful Croatian Islands, Dubrovnik and going for Montenegro or Bosnian roads making a full circle of your motorbike tour. If you want to hire a motorcycle in the middle of a season when is pretty much hot to ride we always recommend exploring the inland and mountain region where you can find beautiful roads and landscapes to enjoy your tour at the fresh temperature. If this is too much for you, you can always rent a motorbike for one day from Split and we will recommend you a few roads to an unforgettable ride.
