Rent-a-GS has crafted the shortest yet most beautiful route for you, covering approximately 191 km. This route is perfect for enthusiasts of the sun, pristine blue seas, and swimming, followed by a pleasant ride through gentle Mediterranean landscapes. It includes a visit to the islands. Hvar, Korčula, and Pelješac are the largest islands in Dalmatia, making them ideal for a motorcycle ride. If you rent a motorcycle in Split, we recommend taking the ferry to Hvar and then to Korčula. From Korčula, you can easily hop on another ferry to Pelješac (following the Dominče – Orebić route) and continue to the mainland.
Far from the noise and lights of the city, you’ll experience the tranquil life of the islanders.
On Korčula island you will find villages isolated of the time, places where you can breathe peace, green fields and small houses surrounded by nature, It is certainly a relaxing place to plan your adventure vacation. Well known for its white wine types, the island of Korčula is among the greenest islands in the Adriatic. We recommend trying local successes Pošip, Rukatac or Grk, and for red wine lovers among you Plavac Mali, one of the best-known Croatian sorts worldwide.
Generous vineyards and olive groves will surely take your breath away. Southern coast is formed by small beaches and quiet coves. Secluded Korčula beaches are the way to go if you want to detach from the urban jungle.
The second largest Croatian peninsula, Pelješac is a unique geographical part of the land. Although connected to the mainland, provides a complete island experience. Peninsula is well connected, so north to south shouldn’t be a problem. We recommend visiting the bay of Mali Ston as well where you’ll find restaurants with one of the best cuisine in Croatia. The main star on the menu is oysters. Fresh and natural from the bay, prepared by traditional recipes with as little seasoning as possible. Try them!
The town of Ston has long been one of the Ragusan Republic’s major forts. Encircled by 14th-century stone walls 5.5 kilometers in length are all walkable and are a great cultural value today.
After Pelješac Dubrovnik city is a natural route destination. Unique for its impressive medical forts, churches, monuments, and palaces, Dubrovnik is often called the pearl of the Adriatic. The more than thousand-year-old history of Dubrovnik made it a cultural center of Europe.
After Dubrovnik coming back along the scenery roads to Makarsa, Omiš and Split.
