Croatia become a full part of the Eurozone! No more stopping on the borders of EU countries.

For all of you who are planning to rent a motorcycle in Croatia and visit some of the impeccable islands and most amazing scenic roads this year.
We have some important travel news for 2023.

Croatia finally entered the Schengen zone and became a part of the Eurozone. The Schengen zone as you probably know is a borderless area in Europe. This means that there are no passport controls when traveling between the countries that are part of it. Croatia has been working on this project for many years, so we are thrilled that finally, our dreams have come true.

Now you can rent a motorcycle in Croatia and drive it throughout Europe, without any problems in any of the EU countries. An important benefit of the Schengen zone is that You will NOT need to show your passport when crossing the border with European countries. You will only need to have with you your driver’s license and insurance card which we provide in the rental process in case the police stopped you. As a part of the European Union, Croatia is going to be much more accessible for travelers. You can now visit Croatia without a visa and travel freely within the EU. We are happy to welcome you to Croatia and hope that you will enjoy all the benefits of renting a motorcycle in Europe.

From 1st January 2023, we change the currency from Kunas to Euros. If you are planning to hire a motorbike in Croatia, don’t worry. The Eurozone is not going to affect the prices of your motorcycle rental. It will be a much easier renting process in Euros without conversion. The good news is that the new currency will be much more stable than the old one. You will still be able to rent the same quality bikes for the same price as before only in Euros instead of kunas.

Croatia has finally connected by the Pelješac bridge

The long-awaited Pelješac bridge was opened in September 2022. With its completion, there is now a direct link between the Dalmatian coast and Dubrovnik. The new bridge will make it much easier to explore this beautiful part of Croatia by motorcycle.

Peljasc bridgeAs you know Croatia was divided into the south and north part with the Bosnian border so we needed on the way to Dubrovnik always stop at the border with Bosnia (not part of the EU) and show our documents it was an annoying process, especially during the season time.
From now on you don’t need to spend your time on the boardercross anymore when you ride on a motorcycle from Split to Dubrovnik. We now have an incredible bridge connecting the southern part with the rest of Croatia. Finally, Croatia is in one single part 😎, this is great news for tourists who are traveling with their motorbikes or cars, so they can enjoy their trip without any interruptions.

The Pelješac bridge is the longest and most expensive road bridge in Croatia. It is a part of an important corridor connecting Central Europe with Mediterranean countries. it’s one of the biggest constructions in Europe. The most amazing thing about this bridge is that it’s built on water, and not on land. So it looks like a long tunnel in the sea and it has been named “The Bridge Under The Bridge” or also called “The Tunnel in the Sea”. The bridge is also a great place for those who love to take selfies, so if you are one of them, then don’t forget about it when you visit Croatia. When you approach with a motorcycle you will see amazing scenery through the majestic Pelješac peninsula where you can visit some of the incredible beaches and local vinery only to mention the best oysters in Croatia you can find in this bay.
But, this is not all. If you are a fan of sports, you will definitely find something to do in Pelješac so Orebić town is well known for water sports like windsurfing or kitesurfing.
